I worked on this as I reminisced college days in the beautiful province of British Columbia. We had a large pond on campus which I frequented alone or with friends. Nature was my sanctuary, my place to escape and find solace when I felt overwhelmed with assignments or a place of warmth when I felt joy over the gift of friendship.

When I lived there, those days felt like a lifetime, and now it's hard to for me to grasp the fullness of those four years. The people I grew to be friends with, I still miss and feel even further away now that travel is more restricted. I long for the day to return to this place that was "home" for a time.
