October 1st is the Feast Day of St. Thérèse of Lisieux. St Thérèse was a French Carmelite nun from the late 1800s who died at the age of 24 from tuberculosis, and who was canonized by the Catholic Church as a saint. She is known for her devotion to "The Little Way" which is doing ordinary things with extraordinary love.
